Crash Course in Basic First Aid

We recently had an incident where a patient came into our GP surgery experiencing an anaphylactic reaction to a bee sting.  Each member of the team, from reception, nurses and GPs, remained calm, efficient, and focused on their role. The staff later commented on how well the entire team handled the situation. We reflected on how our annual emergency scenario training, which Natalie runs for us, has paid off and contributed to the smooth management of this real-life situation.  This incident was a powerful reminder of the importance of preparation, clear communication, and teamwork. I’m proud of how everyone came together to deliver timely and effective emergency care.
