Resus Nelson offers courses recognised by the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA), which meet NZDA requirements and must be revalidated every two years.

Adult Life Support

  • Dental Technicians (non-patient contact)
  • Admin staff (optional but recommended)

Resuscitation Training for Dentists and Dental Assistants

  • Dental Technicians undertaking restricted activities
  • Dental Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Orthodontic Auxiliaries, Clinical Dental Technicians
  • Dentists/Dental Specialists not performing sedation

NZRC CORE Advanced 

  • Dentists/Dental Specialists performing ANY form of sedation (including oral), excluding relative analgesia

Conscious Sedation for Dental Practice 

  • Dentists who perform any sedation

All Resus Nelson courses are listed through the NZDA website, and participants receive a CPD number upon completion to support their continuing professional development. Scenario-based training also qualifies for continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
