You are welcome to attend any of our scheduled NZRC CORE Immediate courses. Where possible, practical scenarios will be tailored to your clinical role, including recognising and managing sedation-related emergencies.
NZRC CORE Immediate – Dental Practice
Specifically designed for dentists and dental team members involved in sedation.
This course combines NZRC CORE Immediate certification with practical, dental-specific emergency and sedation scenarios. Training focuses on the whole dental team working together to recognise and manage complications such as airway obstruction, respiratory depression and deterioration following sedation.
Wherever possible, training can be delivered within your own dental practice, using your clinical areas, equipment and emergency systems. This provides realistic, relevant training and builds confidence in how your team would respond together during a real emergency.
