WELCOME TO RESUS NELSON

CPR & Emergency Scenario Training

COVID-19

We have made some changes to our training to ensure we provide a safe learning environment although we hope the safety measures will not detract from us being able to deliver a valuable learning opportunity.

Resus Nelson was formed in 2012 by Natalie Gallagher she has over 20 years of experience in emergency nursing and has taught CPR and resuscitation for over 15 years.

Natalie is accredited by the New Zealand Resuscitation Council to provide basic life support training through to advanced cardiac life support CORE CPR courses.

She has a passion for teaching, developing in clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals, the capability and confidence to respond to emergency situations within their workplace and community.

Resus Nelson will custom design courses to provide emergency scenario training which targets the specific needs of their client’s teams. Please contact us for a course to suit you or your team.

CPR Courses

Natalie is an accredited instructor of NZRC CORE courses. The course content complies with the current NZRC guidelines and all participants receive certificates complying with their professional organisations. I believe the effective training is as true to life as possible, and I use the latest high fidelity QCPR Laerdal manikins.

Scenario Training

The objective of scenario training is for the team to identify and respond appropriately to patients with clinically urgent health needs, and by using a systematic approach, optimise their outcome. These medical emergencies are managed using the NZRC evidence based national guidelines. Scenario training is designed to enhance confidence, knowledge and skills.
