Dentists
The NZDA verifies Resus Nelson’s courses to provide NZ Resuscitation Council Basic Life Support, CORE Immediate, and CORE Advanced courses, which must be revalidated every two years.
All Resus Nelson courses are registered through the New Zealand Dental Association website. On completion of a course or scenario training a CPD number is issued.
Below is the link to the DCNZ Code of Practice, which is the minimum standard for resuscitation accreditation.

Scenario training
We also provide scenario-based training in acute medical emergencies for your dental team within your practice.
The New Zealand Dental Council recommends a six-month practice review involving all staff of medical emergency management to ensure an appropriate and coordinated emergency response.
